Whether or not the story is true, it shows loopholes for evil in an otherwise decent business, but also the fact that the industry is always willing to correct itself. The Advertiser co-branded as an affiliate of Midphase.com, a hosting provider that offers a co-branding solution to its affiliates. Buying the hosting package from Midphase directly totals $7.95. If you hit the co-branded Advertisers version of the site, the price is $9.95 which means a $2 profit - and a monthly residual income for every person who signs up. However … to generate traffic to his site the Advertiser placed bids on names of other providers, presenting ads that state “provider X sucks”, and the statement you should read what the Advertiser has to say about the services of abovementioned X’s sucky business. All this for minimum bid price as only PPC advertiser for the phrase of course. Moreover …the ad directs to a landing page where he, as an already rich enough expert in hosting solutions, and thus as a service of general kindness, tries to sell you a sweet deal, even the big providers you just searched for can not beat. $9.95 is of course less than the offers of all marketers who's name the Advertiser bids on. As a bonus the Advertiser offers a one page website. Who can let a great deal like this slip by? Especially after an Advertisers expert advice.
