This allows you to contact the affiliate manager of the merchant you would like to link, and ask for permission to use customer testimonials as a registered link for yourself. Thus you have made your offering more unique then the other competing affiliates for the same customer base. If you happen to prefer banners over text links, then the suggestion to your affiliate managers that they should create some banners that are based on testimonials would prove to be very effective tools for steering traffic. Sometimes the best testimonial for a product that you’re trying to sell is your own! It can’t be stressed enough that being an advocate for a product because you are also a user, adds a lot of weight to the sales pitch for a product. Try writing your own testimonial, and submit it to the affiliate manager to ensure that you are within the proper guidelines for the affiliate channel. |
