Cloaking your affiliate links

Due to concerns over spam, viruses, etc. many users are hesitant to click on affiliate links.  There is a lot of speculation that sites containing affiliate links were designed merely to drive traffic to a specific affiliate site.  For this reason, you might be well served to make your links look like standard links to your own site rather than affiliate links.

It’s VERY easy to camouflage your links!  This way, when visitors mouse over your link text, what appears in the status bar at the bottom of your browser window is any URL you want them to see!  You don’t need to take the risk of having visitors hesitate to click on your affiliate links.

How to hide your affiliate links 

Use this Code for Your Links:

Just change the URL of http://www.youraffiliatesite.com/ to the correct affiliate program link, and http://www.nameofaffiliatesite.com with the top level URL for the site to which you are sending your visitors.

For instance, if you participate in the Lunarpages affiliate program, you should replace http://www.youraffiliatesite.com with http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-1429714-5802068

and http://www.nameofaffiliatesite.com with http://www.lunarpages.com
